I finally have the time to blog about my highlights for the month of July and August! Those two months have been pretty hectic for me but it only proves that I've been productive. Yay for that!

Sometime during July, Chezka and I have been chosen to compete in the national level competition of JA FedEx. I admit that the process of making the manuscript and prototype was quite exhausting, but those experiences were one of the most memorable ones. We were fortunate enough to go through finals so we made sure to do our best and represent our school well. At the end, we didn't win in the said competition, but we still felt very blessed and honored to have competed there. 😊 Good luck to my partner next year! 😉

After July comes my birth month! For my twin brother's and my birthday, we celebrated it with our closest friends both in our house (for an overnight) and in the beach located in Zambales. We all made a great memory and had a pleasant time together.

Thank you for making our July and August sooooo lit guys!

Odaiji ni,
Au revoir!

I am happy to be back in the Philippines along with rainy season which starts this June. I have to admit that I miss the hot humid weather after encountering 4 different types of weather in UK & France. Speaking of weather, I was told that UK's weather is unpredictable. There was a time where I only wore a cardigan instead of coat because it was a sunny day and the breeze was great. I was wrong. Totally wrong. It started to rain and it got cold; unexpected weather, indeed. After a while, it began to snow for a few minutes. That's when I realized that Britain's unpredictable weather is true. Truly, weather can be uncertain at times, that's why it's important to at least bring a folding umbrella or any jacket that has hoodie for us to be prepped at any time.

Okay, I'll stop talking about the weather so let's get this haul blog post rolling!

I suddenly got into hair styling these days. Thus, I bought 2 products for my hair. One of which is the Argan Oil Heat Defense Spray. In fact, beauty gurus recommend argan oil for shiny and friz-free healthy hair finish. I spray this to my hair after I take a bath making sure that my hair is still damp. With this, the nutrients will be fully absorbed.

For my second hair product, I bought a Protecting Heat Styling Spray in number 6. This product is only exclusive in Superdrug which is suitable for vegetarians and vegan. It contains UV Absorber and Moringa that blocks against the dangerous UV radiation.

One of my new favorites from my haul is a drinking bottle in pastel color. I love how the design is beautifully thought of. It has a delicate freestyle drawing of birds on the top of a pretty cherry blossom. It absolutely screams my personality ❤️

Many of you might not be aware that I'm actually a baking enthusiast. I always love the feeling of walking in the baking aisle section. It consistently makes me happy inside. These tools are both made for decorating which I bought from the supermarket. As of now, I have not found any good baking supplies in the Philippines. If you know one, feel free to comment!

Here comes my obsession. It's one of the best sellers in Bath, England — Citrus Lip balm flavors. I love the natural scent every time I apply these to my lips. It's a long lasting lip balm that greatly moisturize the lips preventing it to be chapped. I frequently have dry lips so I'd make sure to take care of it by applying this magic lip balm.

Another baking craft that I bought is this cupcake box from Tesco. I just noticed that I'm beginning to love pink again for this year! 😊

I hate how my hair gets tangled in knots after taking a bath. A perfect detangler is finally made, thanks to easy tease.

Another item from this picture is my newly made glasses. My prescription glasses' lens are getting thick. And my eyesight is even worse now. I might have to switch to using contact lens afterwards. But for now, this glasses will do.

This egg timer gadget is made for your convenience. It automatically changes its color depending of the temperature once you place it in a pan. Surprisingly, it works all the time!

Cute notebooks and writing journals!

Now that school's about to begin, I decided to buy this lunch tote bag. It's very spacious inside and the fabric's amazing.

The TDK ST170 headphone's sound quality exceeded my expectation. The music plays very clear in my ear which made it so satisfying. The headphone itself is quite light weight and the ear cups is very comfortable. I recommend this if you plan to purchase a worth buying good quality earphone.

I have been an avid user of bags from Zara and Mango. Both are worth spending especially I'll be using them often in this wet season.

A perfect size for my tea and coffee. ✨

Yuma and I bought these key chains from Paris. They will serve as pasalubong for our friends!

And this is it for my last post on my trip!

Au revoir,
Odaiji ni!

Did you ever wonder on how ancient builders' home looks like? These Neolithic homes are rebuilt for the visitors of Stonehenge to have a firsthand experience of getting a true feeling on what it's like to live during 4,500 years ago.

These houses are equipped with a replica of different artifacts such as Neolithic axes, pots and the like.

This huge stone can only be moved by 100 strong people or so. Yes, it is that massive and heavy. In fact, prehistoric people transported stones using a pulley system.

According from the research, the famous Stonehenge constantly evolved over 10,000 years ago which is said to be part of a complex sacred landscape that continues to change.  The hugest stone found here is called Sarsens while the smaller stone is called Bluestones having been transported from Western Wales.

Bath, England

Look how men enjoy playing cricket. I have no idea how this game works but I find it interesting to watch.

The sun's out which means that everyone gathers outside to feel the warmth of the sun after the freezing cold of England weather.

Every visitors are welcome to Bath Abbey! It is a must see place because of its majestic architecture and great choral music as well. It is a very quiet church where you can contemplate peacefully while talking to God. They also accept donation upon entering which is done for a good cause.

Ice cream is always the best option especially on a sunny day.

Welcome to Roman Bath! According from its official site, about 1,170,000 litres of steaming spring water reaching at 46 degrees fill up the bath everyday. This used to be a luxurious bathing and socializing complex for the rich Romans.

You can also have a free sip of spa water which contains 42 rich minerals at their pump area. You don't have to pay extra money since this is readily included in the admission fee. It's known to have a healing power. Try it once you get here!

When it comes to travelling, I always make sure to wear my best clothes. This means that it takes a whole day for me to plan on what I should wear and bring as essentials. When I know that our travels will have a lot of walking, I make sure to dress normcore. Normcore is a blending word of normal and hardcore hence — Normcore. It is a style that is practical and comfortable. Thus showing some personal characteristics as well.

For our third day in Paris, I wore a mahogany long sleeved shirt paired with a warm cotton casual vest and a black flared skirt. As for my shoes, I matched it with a black suede F&F boots. Wearing the same color as your bottom lengthens your legs making it look longer. It's a plus point for girls who are petite!

.

We have traveled to Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and Quai of the Seine. I recommend walking from Eiffel tower to Arc de Triomphe because it's only a 10 minute walk. And besides it's better to do sightseeing when walking. It's an excuse to exercise 😉

That's it for my Paris, France Trip! 'Till next time!

Disneyland holds a special place in my heart. I spent my childhood years visiting the happiest place on earth for numerous times. Those memories are one of my treasured experiences that bring a smile on my face as I recall them every time. Back then, I remember lining up for an hour or so just to meet and take a picture with my fave character, Mickey! I did not care how long it took us to queue. I also won't forget all those thrilling rides that made me want to ride them over and over again because I was so overwhelmed that I couldn't help it. And here I am again, visiting Disneyland but this time in Paris! Let's see what Disneyland Paris has got for us!

When in Disneyland, make sure to try their food! The price is unreasonable but that's given since this is a famous theme park; I assure you that it's delicious!

I always appreciate this kind of art work. Hands down to all of the flower sculpture artists! They deserve so much respect for this majestic art.

Look who's here!

My final verdict of Disneyland Paris stays the same. It's a place where you can unleash the inner child in you without having to worry of people judging. Trust me, that's what they do in Disneyland. In fact, some of the adults are singing while skipping while others are dancing happily. Their staff are also very nice. They always greet people with a warm smile and help them willingly. We need more of them actually. Sadly, we missed the fireworks show. I would have loved to see it but overall I definitely enjoyed Disneyland Paris! Props to them!
